High Voltage Kids Curriculum
SCRIPTURE-DRIVEN
We know that in this world where there are so many voices claiming to shout “my truth”, our children need to know THE TRUTH. The Bible is our guidebook for living and it is the foundation for our curriculum. We make learning the Bible fun, engaging, and relevant for kids!

APPLICATION-BASED
Every lesson is focused on teaching children how to apply the Bible to their daily lives. Rather than focus merely on morals and character traits, we teach the children how to understand deep truths from scripture and apply it to their friendships, family, and everyday challenges.

Chelsea Testerman
Children's Ministry Director
Chelsea grew up in the Church of God, where she received the Lord at the age of 9. Even as a child, she knew that her gift of dancing would lead her to lead people to Christ. A prophetic word spoken over her confirmed this calling. At 13, Chelsea was baptized in her home church and started running a dance ministry. Together with her mom, they taught young children and adults alike. Her passion for dancing was evident, and she won first place in the regional teen talent competition for the Church of God in 2008. As Chelsea grew older, she led a traveling dance troupe and this made her venture into outreach. Chelsea's goal is to raise fearless worshipers who will impact the next generation.
She married her husband Ryan in 2017, and they now have two beautiful daughters, Rylan and Maloree.
When Chelsea isn't doing kingdom work, she's a dedicated stay-at-home mom. She enjoys tending her garden, taking care of chickens and ducks, and homeschooling her kids. A homestead life is what she strives for.

Ellie Sanford
Preschool Ministry Coordinator
Ellie has lived in Baltimore City all her life. She went to college to get a degree in early childhood education. She left college to marry the love of her life and pursue a full-time career in the technology industry.
Ellie accepted the Lord at the age of 40 at a woman’s retreat, immediately after that, the Lord sent her out on the mission field each year to minister to children in Russia and the Ukraine. There she and her husband witnessed to children in hospitals, schools, orphanages, and nightly crusades. During this time Ellie trained to become a Christian clown “Sparkles”. She then started a clown ministry in her home church and led several groups of clowns to minister in the Ukraine and helped to train clowns and establish a clown ministry in one of their local churches.
She has always had a heart for children and has spent many years ministering to them in the classroom and outside of the classroom doing street ministry. She is led by Proverbs 22:6 and Nehemiah 8:10, to introduce the children to Jesus with joy and love when they are young, so they have a firm foundation to carry with them throughout life.
Ellie has been married to her husband for 50 years, they have two grown children David and Kristy, and three grandsons Preston, EJ, and Jake, whom they love to spend time with.
Ellie is now retired from the work field, and she enjoys bowling, doing crafts, crocheting, working in her garden and lily pond, blowing glass, and traveling.
