Our Story

The "Church on a Hill" at 8855 Belair Rd has a rich church history spanning over 90 years in the Nottingham/Perry Hall area. It was on January 25, 2009 that under the leadership of Bishop Mike & Becki McDermott (founding & Lead Pastors of Life Source Ministries) that Life Source Church – Perry Hall was founded. Pastor Mike's heartbeat is for church planting and revitalization of struggling churches, and under his oversight began the work of revitalizing the "Church on a Hill".

In 2011, Pastors Ron & Vicki Lamm, moved from Tampa, Florida back to Maryland to become the Lead Campus Pastors of Life Source Church – Perry Hall. Under their leadership began the rigorous work of planting the vision for the church, training and equipping ministry leadership, as well as revitalization of various areas around the church. By God's grace and provision, a strong foundation was built under their leadership.

After serving under the Lamm’s leadership from 2012 to 2021, Pastor Justin transitioned from his role as NextGen Pastor to the role of Lead Campus Pastor, where Pastor Justin & his wife Erin build upon the foundation laid. By God's grace & power, Life Source Church – Perry Hall has headed into a new chapter of ministry in the Nottingham/Perry Hall community, advancing God's kingdom throughout the community and beyond by Loving God - Reaching People - Creating Community & Telling the Story!
